Classes start the Monday after Labour Day (Sept. 14th, 2026)
Prior to their first class, dancers can view their studio (room) assignments, teachers for the season and confirm class times all through your Family Portal.

Dancers are now required to be in uniform/proper attire and footwear for every class.
The studio will be closed for Thanksgiving. (Closed Sunday, Oct. 11th and Monday, Oct. 12th)
The week of Halloween, all dancers are allowed to wear their Halloween costume to class and Bring-a-friend! More details will be emailed. There will be no parent viewing this week. (Oct. 25th - 31st)

Year-end costumes will be ordered. Costume fees are included in your monthly tuition.
Dancers who complete the year will receive a costume.
Dance Barre's owners and directors, Blake and Lindsay Angier are proud to Co-chair the fundraising event - "Dancing with the Easter Seals Stars" at Caesar's Windsor on Friday, Nov. 27th. For families interested in attending, more details will be emailed.

The last week of class is a fun holiday week celebration for all dancers. Wear your favourite holiday outfit! There will be parent viewing this week.
The studio will be closed for 2 weeks over the holidays. (Dec. 19th - Jan. 1st)
Classes will resume Sat. Jan. 2nd.

Choreography for the year-end Concert will begin in regular weekly classes.
The Elite Company hosts "Dance Innovation" with performances by CREW and Petite Elite competitive teams - on Sunday, Jan. 10th at the Chrysler Theatre. More details will be emailed.

Mandatory Dress Rehearsal at the Chrysler Theatre for all dancers in classes JK/SK and Up. (Rehearsals dates: May 18th - 21st)
The season concludes with 4 shows at the Chrysler Theatre. Each recreational class will perform on one of the four shows. Specialty teams may perform in more than one show. Exact dates and times will be emailed to you. (Concert Show Dates: May 22nd and 23rd)
